Where is VEST Fahrschule?

Which licence classes does VEST Fahrschule offer?
Class B, class BE, B78 (automatic only), B197 (automatic exam with manual entitlement) and B96 (combinations up to 4,250 kg).
When is VEST Fahrschule open?
Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
How much does a licence at VEST Fahrschule cost?

Does VEST Fahrschule have an opening offer?
Yes. From 30 October 2026 to 30 April 2027, the first 50 registrations receive a gift box worth €89.90. If you register together, you save 50% of the registration fee.
What is VEST VIP?
VEST VIP is our service for a one-time €299: pickup from home, school or work, priority scheduling, exclusive early and evening slots, priority for lessons that become free, and personal exam preparation.
How do I register?

What is the difference between B78 and B197?
With B78 you may only drive automatics. With B197 you also take the exam in an automatic, but after extra manual lessons and a test drive you may also drive manual cars.
When do I need B96 and when BE?
B96 is enough for combinations up to 4,250 kg and only requires training, no exam. For trailers up to 3.5 t and heavier combinations, you need class BE with a practical exam.
Which documents do I need for the licence application?
Usually an ID card or passport, a biometric photo, an eye test and proof of a first-aid course. We will tell you exactly what you need when you register.
Which cities does VEST Fahrschule serve?
Recklinghausen and the area within about 25 km, including Herten, Marl, Oer-Erkenschwick, Datteln, Herne, Castrop-Rauxel, Gelsenkirchen, Bochum and Dortmund.
Will the licence reform change anything?
A reform of driver training is going through the legislative process (as of October 2026). The current rules apply until it takes effect. We will update you on the latest status when you register.
